The Epistles of John are intensely practical letters addressed to the Christian readers. They warn against the dangers of false teaching and exhort believers to live a life of obedience to God and love for their brothers and sisters. Its controlling theme is fellowship with God the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ in love and truth. The course goal is to allow the letters of John to teach us how to base our lives upon the true doctrines of Christ and His person. To live our life in a way that pleases Him in truth and love.
