Each student must participate in an evangelistic outreach prior to graduation. The outreach is to be evangelistic in nature, seeking to share the gospel to these outside the church. The outreach needs to take palace between the time the student began classes at CCBC and graduation.
Community Service Class
This course requires two hours of community service per week. Each student will be assigned to one project or department for the entire semester. There will be training and tests required based upon the nature of the project. The class is designed to contribute to the needs of the community and teach the student what it means to give back to those in the local area.
The students are not sent out into the community to proselytize, recruit, or preach. However, if an opportunity to share the gospel is given, we want to adorn the doctrine of God in every respect.
Each student's grade will directly reflect his or her attendance. Attendance will be tracked by a journal that the student keeps as he or she does each week's project. Attendance at the weekly community service meeting is also required.
