In light of CCBC’s vision “To know God and Equip His Servants”, the Affiliate Schools Ministry has been developed to provide students with a biblically centered course of study comparable to what is offered directly through CCBC (Murrieta, Costa Mesa, Distance Learning, or Teaching Sites). Affiliates are affiliated schools located throughout the United States and across the globe. Each Affiliate is independently run and is autonomous from CCBC in admissions, finances, etc.
Through Affiliate Schools, students can earn up to 18 credits towards CCBC’s Associate of Biblical Studies (A.B.S.) or up to 36 credits towards CCBC’s Bachelor of Biblical Studies (B.B.S.). That equates to one semester during the two year Associate’s program and two semesters during the four year Bachelor’s program. CCBC recommends traveling during a student’s second or third semester and those that would like to travel more are encouraged to participate in international missions trips during spring semesters while at the Murrieta campus and during summer breaks. A semester in the Jerusalem teaching site is subject to this policy.
Although most of the courses offered at Affiliates are transferable to CCBC, the CCBC Registrar’s Office makes the final decision as to which courses are accepted. Courses are either approved or denied before each semester begins, so that students can be informed before enrolling in a course that is not transferable or “not-for-credit”. If you have any questions about the transferability of an affiliated school’s course, policies, or would like to inquire about their programs please email us at email@example.com.View Affiliate Schools
