We are excited to announce our Spring ’19 Semester theme “Contented”, pulled from Philippians 4:11 where Paul says, “…I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.”

Contented isn’t a word we hear often, but it is powerful in meaning. The dictionary defines contented as, “happy and at ease” and “willing to accept something; satisfied.” Out of anyone in this world, believers should be those who live a contented life because they can trust all of their circumstances to a good God. This semester we’ll explore this theme in more detail through the following topics at Sunday Night Chapels:

The Cause of our Discontentment:

  • The Garden & The Choice

  • Covetousness & Ungratefulness

The Cure for our Discontentment:

  • Surrendering to God

  • Praise & Worship

  • Serving Others

  • Sharing Our Resources

  • Self Examination

I’m Content with:

  • My Health & Wealth

  • My Relationship Status

  • My Calling & Spiritual Gifts

I’m Not Content with:

  • My Knowledge of & Heart for God

  • My Personal Holiness

  • The State of this World

The Result of Living a Contented Life:

  • Communion with God & Others
