Community Service

At Calvary Chapel Bible College we care about the community around us. This is why we offer a program that every 3rd and 4th semester student is required to participate in. This program is called C.C.S. which stands for Christian Community Service. Students are required to go out into our community in Murrieta and Temecula, and serve at one of our various venues. The venues that we offer vary anywhere from juvenile hall visits to helping out the elderly community. This is a great opportunity for our students to learn practical service in a real ministry environment.  Many Christians do not understand what it means to serve like Jesus did, and here at Calvary Chapel Bible College we make sure that our students are ready to go out and serve the community around them, regardless of where that might be.

Examples of C.C.S. Venues :

Birth Choice of Temecula– We volunteer at our local Pro-Life clinic which serves to inform, counsel and help women with alternate options to abortion. Service to this venue includes helping in the office with paperwork, phone calls and planning for their upcoming events.

Murrieta Gardens– Is an assisted living home and memory care facility (focuses on those with Alzheimer’s and dementia). Students who serve at this venue will accompany in room visits, hosting bingo, and assisting residents with memory care.

Global Recordings Network– GRN is a ministry whose primary focus is to produce audio recordings of Bible teachings in 6,507 languages for the least reached language groups of the world. Service to this venue includes data entry and I.T. work.

Good News Club– Is a once-a-week Bible club for all elementary age kids. Service to this venue includes assisting the GNC teacher with lessons, helping with games and interacting with all the kids.
