While leadership is a spiritual gift, it is a gift that can be developed (Romans 12:8). What’s more, even those whose gifts lie in other areas can learn to lead more effectively within their various callings. This course will use presentation, videos, discussion, and active learning to explore leadership in the church, in marriage, in the workplace, and within ourselves—all in light of the teaching and examples contained in Scripture. Topics addressed will include the Christian leader’s character, servant leadership, team development, leadership styles, coaching and feedback, effective communication, planning, and more.
