Frequently Asked Questions

Students should anticipate spending 2.5 hours per week per credit on coursework. For a 2 credit course this would be an average of 5 hours per week. For a 3 credit course this would average 7.5 hours per week.

Consider pursuing one of our degree concentrations if you want to have a focus for your studies without committing to a full degree program.

Completion times greatly depend on your chosen program, how many credits you take per term and the amount of transfer credits you may have. We offer various start dates throughout the year allowing students to tailor their programs to fit their schedule.

16-Week Online and 8-Week Accelerated courses have weekly due dates for assignments. Assignments may require interaction with your instructor and fellow students requiring your participation at specific times. These dates are communicated at the beginning of the course and are based on Pacific Standard Time (PST).

“Legacy” Directed Study courses are primarily self paced. They may require weekly due dates for assignments but will not require specific login times.

Terms begin throughout the year to benefit various schedules. View the Registration Dates to learn more.
