Leadership

Founder

God is moving mightily by His Holy Spirit in this generation and we praise Him for His mighty works.

As a part of what God is doing by His Spirit worldwide, He has raised up the Calvary Chapel ministries to help feed His people with His Word.

At Calvary Chapel Bible College, men and women from all over the world gather together in the beautiful Murrieta Hot Springs oasis of Southern California to study the Word of God with Calvary Chapel pastors.

May God bless you richly with His abundant love.

Pastor Chuck Smith
Founder (1927-2013)

President & Board Chair

J. I. Packer begins his classic book, Knowing God, with these words: “What were we made for? What aim should we set ourselves in life? What is the best thing in life, bringing more joy, delight, and contentment than anything else? The answer is: Knowing God!”

We here at CCBC believe that knowing God is the ultimate objective of life and the most glorious adventure one could ever undertake. The apostle Paul, after decades of following and serving Christ, expressed his continued passion in these words: “That I may know Him.”

Our goal, therefore, is to do all we can to help each of our students in their pursuit of God. We do this through the study of God’s Word, praise, prayer, the communion of the saints, service, and engaging the world around us with the Gospel. We are delighted to have you join us in this season of your journey toward a deeper and fuller knowledge of God.

“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent” (John 17:3).

Making a living is important, but so is learning how to live. Enrolling at CCBC is a wise investment to “tune your ears to wisdom, apply your heart to understanding, and find the knowledge of God.”

Our nurturing environment will facilitate making lifelong Christian friends—often the best tutors—and interaction with international students from cross-cultural backgrounds will broaden your worldview.

You will discover that the teachers’ and staff’s extraordinary performance is driven by commitment to a high view of Scripture, a humble attitude of service, and the constraining love of Jesus Christ. We utilize a learning management and messaging system that connects students, teachers, and staff around the globe. Every individual is important. Come, not because we’re innovative and cost effective, but come expecting to be conformed more into the image of Jesus Christ and powerfully endowed for ministry by the transforming power of His inspired Word and dynamic Spirit.

“Study to show yourself approved unto God” (2 Timothy 2:15).

Director & COO

The decision to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College is a choice to intentionally seek the Lord—a decision He will certainly bless, as God is “a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him”(Hebrews 11:6).

At CCBC you’ll join hundreds of like-minded students in their diligent, passionate, and intimate pursuit of God. You’ll have the opportunity to study His Word as it leads you into a deeper relationship with Christ. In-depth verse-by-verse teaching, Spirit- filled worship, and student-designed fellowship events will bless, challenge, and ultimately strengthen you in your spiritual walk.

You will develop meaningful relationships with other students as well as the CCBC staff and faculty. Whether it’s through structured home groups, casual meals, or discipleship conversations at our coffee house, we love finding opportunities to connect with students. In every way possible, we pursue our mission: To know God and equip His servants.

The variety of ways CCBC graduates end up serving the Lord is amazing. Over 75% of our graduates are serving alongside their local churches; while others have applied their Biblical foundation to endeavors such as work, school, or family—all important mission fields in their own right! 99% of recent graduates stated that their education at CCBC helped them grow/mature in Christ-like character and equipped them for serving in ministry, and prepared them for life in general.

Whatever your background and whatever your calling, we invite you to join us for a season of preparation in the Word of God at CCBC. Search our website to learn more about our community and student life at CCBC.
