Description

The book of Numbers expands the understanding of the Old Testament. This course will be an exegetical study of the book of Numbers with some added emphasis on the authorship of the Pentateuch, the Feasts of Israel, the role of the obedience by faith in the life of a New Testament believer, the historical setting of the book of Numbers and how this book fits in with the rest of Scripture. Students will come to (1) know the historical background of the book of Numbers, (2) understand the reason to believe in a Mosaic authorship, (3) understand the content and structure of the book of Numbers, (4) understand the role of the obedience by faith in our lives today as New Testament believers and (5) demonstrate the ability to explain the message and significance of this book to others in appropriate ways.
