2025 Spring Missions Trip

Calvary Chapel Bible College has a simple mission statement: CCBC prepares students for Spirit-filled life and ministry through the study of Scripture in Christ-centered community. The hands-on expereince serving on a short-term international mission trip is one way we strive to accomplish this mission. Join us in prayer, and if you feel led, in financially supporting our team as we aim to raise $50k for this three week trip. More details on the team, the trip, and how you can support us can be found below. This page will be updated throughout the semester as our team prepares. God bless you, and thank you again for your support. – Michael Ancheta, Director.

Meet the Team

Jenae A.

I see the work being done in Cambodia through this school, and I have a desire to be a part of it. Ever since we watched the documentary in Christian Living class I've prayed that I would get an opportunity to go there. I also think it's super unique that the gospel gets to be shared through this school, and that not only do children hear the gospel, but their parents do as well.

Nehemiah B.

I would like to experience missions as an unmarried young man and bring the good news of Jesus to Cambodia. I think it will be a great opportunity to leave my comfortable life in Twin Peaks for a time and get uncomfortable for the work of the kingdom of God. I'm excited.

Makeda G.

I have always had a heart for missions and have sought to support every missionary that I possibly could. I have never felt the green light until now to be on the mission field and I’m extremely excited for the opportunity to share Christ through music! Needless to say, I just want to share the love of God with those children through the medium of music and long to see His hand upon their lives.

Eden M.

Since coming here and hearing about Cambodia God has really put this pressure on my heart about it. I'm not fully sure what exactly He wants me to do, but I want to help. I still don't know exactly what God wants me to do in my life to serve Him, and I'll serve Him no matter where He puts me. People are hurting and in pain, and I want to help show them the peace, joy, safety, and glory of the LORD.

Sam O.

I believe that I am being called into ministry, more specifically on the mission field. I want to be equipped to help people who come from a different background and culture and confidently share the gospel with them.

Logan L.

I want to leave this semester with an opportunity to spread God's Kingdom in regards to a missions-style way of doing it. Then, afterwards, to use any skills I might gain from the Lord's help to better do Kingdom work wherever I'm living at home.

Danica K.

I’ve always wanted to go on a mission trip and had been praying about going on one to see how people worship Jesus in different ways. I’m really excited to be in an environment where we are there to serve and love people. I’ve never been out of the country and I’m so excited to learn about other places and to see the Lord moving there. I love people and I want to show them the love of Jesus.

Robert H.

I want to learn firsthand what it is to be one who ministers to the needs of others on an international level of ministry, and to grow and learn from this unique experience both personally and spiritually.

Hayley T.

I’ve wanted to go on a trip since before I came to school. I always thought it would be in the future after I left, but I’ve been praying for a long time and I really want to go on this trip and serve the people at the school. I want to see how the Word works in other cultures, and I want to be able to take that experience and share it with the kids I teach back at home.

Jack M.

I have had a desire to do a missions trip so that I can spread the word of God and be a light to those around me.

Chloe B.

Missions have been something that has excited me since I was a little kid. I grew up reading missionary biographies, and I have always felt the desire to help people. I want to go to help people practically, to share the love of Christ, and to share the gospel. I know I will grow from it, and I want to say, “yes” to what the Lord is calling me to even when it makes me uncomfortable or scared.

Elijah B.

I feel that this would be an amazing experience for me to grow in the sharing of the Gospel. I also would like to learn how to live in a mission environment.

Eli B.

A short-term international mission is something I have wanted to do for a long time. While I don't currently see myself being called to long-term missions as a career, I know the Lord works amazing things on trips like this. My cousin also went on basically this same trip, and I remember when I was younger hearing about it and seeing pictures when she got back and how much she had learned on the trip.

Ari P.

I really want to serve God wherever He leads me, and I been recently feeling led to do missions, because there’s so much need of His love and mercy, here and everywhere around the world. I’m still praying about this trip, ‘cause I want to be sure God wants me to go serve there, but I’m willing to go, and I know He will provide if that’s His will.

Joelle P.

When hearing about it in Chapel, I felt called instantly to go. So, I prayed about it for a few weeks and still felt called and have peace about going.

Elena K.

I have always wanted to get into mission work, and I feel like this would be a great way to start. I had plans before coming to Bible college to start right off with YWAM, but God placed me here, and I realized how unprepared I had been before. I believe God brought me here to prepare me for my goal of becoming a missionary, so when the opportunity came up for me to join, I felt a desire to do so.

Josiah P.

I have always had a heart for missions trips, I was saved on one. Short term missions trips seem to be what God has put on my heart for now. The first time it was talked about at chapel, I immediately imagined myself there and the amazing opportunity serving the kids and their parents could be. In my past missions trips, God has been incredibly faithful to bless my spiritual health through hard work and service.

Madison M.

I would like to go on this trip to practice being more active in the teaching of the Gospel. I feel in my time at the Bible college I've had the opportunity to understand the Gospel more. I want my understanding of it to not just be passive, but active as well. I desire for the people of Cambodia to grow a deeper understanding and compassion for not only the Gospel but what it means to fulfill the Great Commission.

Brady T.

I had always wanted to go on mission trips. Ever since I was like 15 I had wanted to go to Cambodia, and once I found out there was a class that would ultimately go on a mission trip to Cambodia I felt like God was really calling me to do it.

Kait P.

I love serving others and I want to help bring light to dark places. I love doing missions because of the love I am able to share with others and the hope I can bring through Jesus. I know how broken the world is and I want others to know that there is so much more hope through Christ. I have only been to one closed country and would live more experience as well as I just want to use this opportunity to serve others.

Savanah C.

I want to attend to serve, to be a support for students and to grow in servanthood myself. It is such an honor to be a part of trips like these that get to display the gospel to people who do not have the access and the resources that we do. The Lord continues to burden my heart for the unsaved, and especially people groups who are not living in the freedom that we are so lucky to have here in the US.

David D.

I look forward to sharing the gospel.

Michael A.

I have had the privilege of serving at AHFWS, leading teams for nearly a decade. God's favor on this school is abundantly clear, and Lord willing some of these students will return to serve there in some capacity. Equipping students to share God's love and truth with the children and parents at AHFWS is one of my greatest joys. I am excited to see Kit and Ream again after 6 long years.
