The Admissions decision is made by our Admissions Review Board on the basis of the following criteria:
Information contained in the application is thoroughly evaluated. This includes the student’s Personal Life Profile and Spiritual Life Profile.
Three reference forms are to be completed on behalf of the student. Individuals serving as student references are to have known the applicant for at least one year, they must not be related to the applicant by blood nor by marriage and one of the references must be a pastor.
The following are the academic programs that are offered at CCBC:
Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies (A.A.B.S.) – This 2 year program requires 72 semester credits and all requirements of the D.B.S. Of the 72 credits required, a minimum of 18 must be earned in general studies courses completed at CCBC or transferred to CCBC from a DOE recognized, accredited college.
Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (B.A.B.S.) – This 4 year program requires 120 semester credits and all the requirements of the D.B.S. Of the 120 credits required, a minimum of 36 must be earned in general studies courses at CCBC or completed separately and transferred to CCBC from a DOE recognized, accredited college. This program can be completed in as little as 3 years for those plan on a heavy workload and some classes in between semesters.
Diploma in Biblical Studies (D.B.S.) – This 2 year program requires 72 semester credits and is composed primarily of eight Bible Core Classes (each representing a section of the Bible), foundational courses in theology, Bible Survey courses, verse-by-verse studies of Bible books, and Practical Christian Ministry. various Elective courses in Christian ministry are also available. No prior college education or general studies courses are required for this program, only a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Audit – Our audit program is designed for off campus students who desire personal enrichment in class sessions, are able to attend at least 75% of the class meetings, and will not have graded homework.
Home Schooled Students
Home schooled students who wish to pursue a degree will need to provide an official record of completion from their home school association, along with complete transcripts.
Upon completing your application, you will be contacted by an admissions counselor within 1-3 weeks with a decision. Please complete your application two months prior to the semester start date.
