It is encouraging to hear of your interest in studying the Word of God at Calvary Chapel Bible College. Just as Paul exhorts Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”, the vision of CCBC is to provide a place where students can come and study the Word of God without distraction. The Admissions decision is made by our Admissions Review Board on the basis of the following criteria:
Information contained in the application is thoroughly evaluated. This includes the student’s Personal Life Profile and Spiritual Life Profile.
Three reference forms are to be completed on behalf of the student. Individuals serving as student references are to have known the applicant for at least one year, they must not be related to the applicant by blood nor by marriage and one of the references must be a pastor.
There are four main Degree programs offered through CCBC.
Associate of Applied Science in Biblical Studies (A.A.S.B.S.) – Requires 72 semester credits. No prior college education courses are required for this program, only a high school diploma or its equivalent
Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (B.A.B.S.) – This accelerated CCU partnership degree can be completed on-campus at CCBC in just three years! Stay an extra year and earn your B.A.B.S. with a specialization in Biblical Leadership, Biblical Counseling, Women’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Church Planting, or Worship. This program allows students with no previous general education credits to take those classes on our campus concurrently with their Bible and ministry classes. LEARN MORE.
Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education (B.A.C.E.) – This hybrid CCU partnership degree can be completed on-campus at CCBC in four years and has specializations in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, or Educational Leadership. This program allows students with no previous general education credits to take those classes on our campus concurrently with their Bible and ministry classes. LEARN MORE.
Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (B.A.B.S.) – Requires 132 semester credits and all the requirements of the A.A.S.B.S. Of the 132 credits required, a minimum of 36 must have been previously earned in general studies courses completed separately and transferred to CCBC from a DOE recognized, accredited college.
Home Schooled Students
Home schooled students who wish to pursue a degree will need to provide an official record of completion from their home school association, along with complete transcripts.
Upon completing your application, you will be contacted by an admissions counselor within 1-3 weeks with a decision. Please complete your application two months prior to the semester start date.
