CCBC digital library

Introducing the Digital Theological Library at CCBC:

Making high-quality theological resources accessible to every student

At Calvary Chapel Bible College, we believe that serious study of God’s Word should be both spiritually formative and intellectually rich. That’s why we’re excited to announce our full membership in the Digital Theological Library (DTL)—a world-class collection of academic resources now available to all CCBC students and faculty.

The DTL is a unique, purpose-built online library designed specifically for theological institutions like ours.

Unlike general academic databases that are often too broad or out of date for our needs, the DTL offers more than
700,000 carefully curated eBooks, journals, and databases focused on biblical studies, theology, church history, and Christian ministry.

Scholarship Meets Stewardship

This development isn’t just about access. It reflects our commitment to both academic excellence and affordability. We want students to grow in depth of understanding without being weighed down by unnecessary costs.

That’s why we’re pleased to share that all required textbooks for Fall 2025 courses (excluding General Education courses through Campus) are available to students through the DTL at no additional cost!

While students are welcome to purchase physical copies for long-term use, access to their required texts is already provided as part of their CCBC enrollment.

In addition, through our acquisition partnership with the DTL, we are able to request new titles when needed. This gives our faculty flexibility in choosing the most helpful resources for each course and keeps book costs low for students.

While there may be occasional exceptions, our goal is to make required texts available through the DTL whenever possible.

Accessible Wherever Students Are

The DTL supports theological learning wherever our students are—whether on campus, at home, on a mission trip, serving in ministry, or studying abroad through one of our Calvary Chapel Bible Schools (CCBS) around the world.

With this tool in hand, students remain equipped and connected to quality theological resources no matter where God has called them.

Rooted in the Word, Equipped for the World

We’re grateful to offer this resource as part of our mission to prepare students for Spirit-filled life and ministry. The DTL reflects our conviction that the pursuit of truth and wisdom is not a luxury but a calling.

Serious theological study should be available to every follower of Christ who seeks to grow.

We hope this new library becomes not just a tool but a companion in the journey of knowing and serving Jesus.
