At Calvary Chapel Bible College, we believe every student has a calling. Not everyone is called to preach or plant a church, but everyone is called to glorify God with their life.
That’s why one of our core values is: We Answer the Call.
Whether it leads to a pulpit, a mission field, a classroom, a job site, or a home, every calling is a sacred invitation to serve Jesus and love others. We want our students to live for one thing, not success, recognition, or comfort, but a single reward: “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21).
We Value Every Calling
We rejoice that God has used CCBC to raise up pastors, missionaries, worship leaders, and church planters around the world. We pray for more.
But we also believe that the call of God is broader than ministry titles.
We’ve seen students graduate and go on to:
- Serve in education, healthcare, and business
- Raise families and disciple their children
- Launch nonprofits or serve in trades
- Work in law, government, or counseling
- Lead youth groups while managing teams at work
Each of these callings matters, not because of the title, but because of the opportunity to glorify God and love people
Bible College Prepares You to Be Faithful
At CCBC, we won’t teach you how to weld, write code, or suture a wound. But we will teach you how to:
- Seek the will of God in everything
- Love your neighbor with wisdom and grace
- Work with integrity and joy as unto the Lord
- Recognize your gifts and use them to build others up
- Live missionally, whether at home or across the world
A Bible college education provides something that transcends any job training. It lays a foundation for faithfulness and fruitfulness in whatever field God calls you to.
The Call Is Bigger Than a Career
Calling isn’t just about what you do for a living. It’s about who you follow, how you serve, and why you live.
We teach our students that their lives are not their own. They belong to Jesus. And when you belong to Jesus, every part of your life becomes a stage for His glory.
Whether you’re preaching a sermon or changing diapers, signing contracts or leading worship, you can do it with purpose, passion, and love. That’s what we mean when we say: We answer the call.
The Goal Is “Well Done”
In a world that chases platform, popularity, and personal fulfillment, we train students to pursue a different goal: the “well done” of their Master.
We don’t believe God calls everyone to the same place. But we do believe He calls everyone to the same purpose: to be faithful. And faithfulness begins with surrender; listening to His voice, obeying His Word, and trusting His plan.
